      BRAKE REPAIR

Does it take you more than 3 New York City blocks to stop your car? If you answered yes it's time to have your brakes inspected

From the brake pedal to hydraulic brake fluid, brake master cylinder to power brake booster, drum brakes to disc brakes and electronic anti-lock brake sensors, Our technicians know every part of your brake system inside and out and can perform brake repair on any make and model.

You know you need brake repair when:

  • the brake dashboard light glows amber, indicating problems with the anti-lock brake system (ABS)

  • the brake dashboard light is red, indicating a system imbalance

  • the brake pedal is spongy or slow to respond

  • you hear grinding or constant squealing during braking

Any time you notice these or other symptoms, it’s a good idea to have your brakes checked.

      TUNE UPS

Today's engines are highly advanced and difficult to troubleshoot. That's why we use sophisticated engine diagnostic equipment and vehicle computer data to pinpoint hidden problems and worn parts. Depending on the age and model of your vehicle, your engine tune-up service includes:

  • A thorough inspection of your entire engine and its mechanisms

  • Replacement of faulty or worn electronic engine components such as oxygen sensors and electronic control module components

  • Replacement of faulty or worn spark plugs, air filters, and fuel filters

  • Adjustment of your vehicle's idle and timing

  • Adjustment of the clutch (on vehicles equipped with a manual transmission)

Normal vehicle usage causes various parts of your engine to lose their efficiency because of under-the-hood temperature and vibration.

  • Regular tune-ups help maintain vehicle safety and performance by ensuring that worn or faulty parts are replaced promptly

  • Tune-ups can help you achieve maximum fuel efficiency and vehicle performance

      Transmission Maintenance

Periodic transmission maintenance is required to keep your vehicle running smoothly and efficiently. A number of services should be performed during routine transmission maintenance to ensure all components are properly lubricated and in good and solid shape. A lift inspection may reveal any major trouble, while general inspection and replacement of fluids, filters and gaskets will reveal other minor problems that can be fixed along the way. It's recommended to have this service performed every 30,000 miles or every couple of years, whichever comes first. A complete transmission flush may only be necessary if the vehicle is long overdue for transmission maintenance. Significant sludge or grime buildup, or a burnt smell or color of the existing transmission fluid may require a full flush as well. If routine maintenance has been faithfully performed as per recommendation, the simple drainage and replacement of old fluid during this process should suffice.
